THE BEACHES OF MISANO ADRIATICO
Across Misano's 3 kilometres of coastline lie the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic Riviera. Guest services and entertainment are state-of-the-art, with particular attention paid to children, for whom outdoor play areas and an engaging daily animation service are provided. Many beaches are pet-friendly, therefore set up to welcome animals too. For young people and adults, there are sea-view swimming pools, a true oasis of relaxation complete with a sea-view whirlpool.
The Sea of Misano – Blue and Green
The sea and beach of Misano have received two important recognitions. The BLUE Flag for the quality of bathing waters, sustainable tourism, waste management, purification efficiency, and the enhancement of natural areas.
Next to this there is also the GREEN flag, the award given by paediatricians which is based on the suitability of holiday destinations for families with children.
Beach sports
Misano Adriatico is also, and above all, a city of sport, both with feet on the sand and off it. On the beach, during the summer, thousands of people compete in beach tennis, beach volleyball, or the classic game of bocce, which is truly timeless!
Water sports are plentiful, with the chance to try out canoes, Stand Up Paddleboards, surfing, and windsurfing. In Misano, when it comes to sports, there's really everything. Just ask.
...and then there's the seafront
Lining the beaches of Misano, which are modern and well-equipped, is a beautiful pedestrian promenade, the favourite spot for jogging enthusiasts and cyclists who make use of the cycle path that connects various points in the area.
The promenade is the favourite meeting place for holidaying families for a stroll at sunset or early in the morning, and for couples in the evening.
The fountains decorating the seafront help to fill the whole area with magic.
