Misano is known worldwide as the cradle of engines. A pearl of the Motor Valley, the capital of Riders’ Land where Valentino Rossi & Company were born and have decided to live and train.

It has an international circuit that is used as a “gym” by young motorcycle talents and not only.
It boasts plenty of tracks and circuits suitable for all types of training and fun on two and four wheels.
All disciplines can be practised: racing, flat track, motard, pit bike, minimoto, karting.
MISANO WORLD CIRCUIT “MARCO SIMONCELLI”
The Santamonica hamlet is a legendary spot for motorsport enthusiasts. The Misano World Circuit is located in the district dedicated to champions of two and four wheels.
The Misano World Circuit, founded in 1972, has hosted major two- and four-wheel events for years and owes its media explosion to the San Marino and Riviera MotoGP Grand Prix, which it has hosted since 2007 and which annually stands as the most attended event in Italy (in 2019, 160,000 fans were in the stands).
Dedicated to the late Marco Simoncelli, it comprises an international circuit which, besides hosting international races (Misano is one of the few places in the world where two motorcycle World Championships take place – as well as MotoGP, Superbike is also raced here), offers enthusiasts the chance to ride on the track with their own motorbikes thanks to free practice sessions.
Aside from the track where Valentino Rossi and his peers race, the Misano circuit also offers a track (the Misaninofor Karting races, both competitive and amateur, as well as for motard, minimotard, and pit bikes, and a Flat track which is often used as a training circuit by professional MotoGP teams for their riders.
It is not uncommon to find, for example, Graziano Rossi there, a great enthusiast of the sector and a lover of anything with an engine, as well as many speed drivers training their reflexes on the dirt track.
Among these, for example, the boys from VR46 Riders Academy and the pilots of the Italian Motorcycle Federation given that the structure has also become a federal centre used to train the young talent of Italian motorcycling.
ENGINES BY THE SEA
In Misano, the passion for “giving it gas” is so strong that you can find go-karting tracks everywhere, even a stone's throw from the sea.
Among the historic tracks in the Romagna region, for example, there is Riviera Kart. Located next to the Adriatica state road in the town of Portoverde, during the summer period it is the meeting place for many tourists from the coast who can challenge each other in passionate races with the latest generation karts. The facility is illuminated.

However, less than 100 metres from the sea stands Arena 58. It is a dirt track located in Via Romagna, in the heart of Misano, and is a symbol of Romagna's attachment to dirt bike racing. Born from the idea of some enthusiasts who decided to transform an unused agricultural field into a track, first for speedway and then for flat track.
And so, a track was born, approved by the Italian and international Motorcycle Federations, which hosts a round of the World Championships and national Flat Track Championships during MotoGP, and is made available to enthusiasts for free practice for the rest of the year.
WORLD EVENTS
Today the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli” It is among the leading circuits nationally and among the excellences in the world. The heart of international events is linked to motorcycles with the World Championship MotoGP “San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix”, the Superbike “World Championship: Rimini Riviera Round” and the Civil Engineering (Italian Speed Championship), the Misano Classic Weekend with historic motorcycles and the World Ducati Week which takes place in Misano every two years.
But the four-wheeled vehicles also stand out for events that attract many fans, as is the case with... Grand Prix Truck, the event dedicated to truck racing and enthusiasts, the GT World Challenge Europe which puts Gran Turismo GT cars on the track with prestigious brands such as Ferrari, Bentley, Aston Martin, Porsche, McLaren, Audi, BMW.
The MWC will also host the world finals of Super Trofeo Lamborghini.
