Here's an example of excursions you can do in Misano Adriatico: A popular option is to explore the **Conca River Park**. Misano has always offered incredible cycling routes, both on-road and off-road. Our cycle path connects Misano to neighbouring towns, and numerous cycle touring routes will take you into the stunning inland hills, the very ones that host gran fondo races and other sporting events every year.
Those who don't want to exert themselves too much can use e-bikes and discover the surrounding territory on two wheels with fantastic routes for tasting local products, olive oil, piadina (a type of flatbread), and Sangiovese wine.
EXCURSIONS IN THE COUNTRYSIDE
The Romagna hinterland is rich with true cultural gems, villages and castles that preserve the charm of the Middle Ages intact. From Misano, shuttles and excursions depart to the villages and castles of Mondaino, Montefiore Conca, Saludecio, Coriano, and also to the nearby, albeit Marchigiano, fortress of Gradara. ...at Misano you can do anything
But the possibilities for excursions for those who love an active holiday are practically infinite.
The natural course of the Conca river, for example, is bordered by a fantastic dirt path perfect for mountain biking. Starting right from the estuary, hence from the sea, you can go upstream along the river, reaching the nearby Conca Oasis – where you can also go bird watching – and continue towards other natural spots in the nearby hinterland. The routes are suitable for both amateurs, who will find long flat or gently sloping sections, and for more experienced riders, who can venture onto more challenging trails.
For those who love a bit of fun, we recommend excursions to the theme parks of Romagna: from the very close Aquafan, Oltremare and Cattolica Aquarium, to Mirabilandia, Italia in Miniatura and Safari Ravenna, where it’s fantastic to spend days of fun and discovery with the whole family.
