The FIM Superbike World Championship Emilia-Romagna Round is one of the most anticipated events of the entire motorcycling season. It's not just a top-level sporting competition, but a truly unmissable event for two-wheel enthusiasts and anyone who loves speed, skill, and adrenaline. The stage is the legendary Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, a place that evokes strong emotions and indelible memories, set in a unique atmosphere.
From Friday, things immediately get serious with practice sessions and qualifying. On Saturday and Sunday, however, it's the official races. Three days of pure spectacle, not only on the track but also in the paddock, where fans and curious onlookers can soak up the championship's energy up close, meet the protagonists, and enjoy unique experiences.
5-7 June 2026
On 5, 6 and 7 June 2026, the’International GT Open takes place at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli for a weekend dedicated to supercars and speed. Some of the most prestigious Gran Turismo cars will take to the track, driven by international-level drivers, ready to battle it out on high-speed straights and technical corners. The atmosphere will be one of great occasion, with teams and enthusiasts from all over Europe. Three days of spectacle, roaring engines, and close-quarters duels, at one of the most iconic circuits in the Italian motorsport scene.
30-31 May 2026
The Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli Are you ready to vibrate with emotion on the third weekend of May with the return of the Misano Grand Prix Truck, which will take place on 30 and 31 May 2026. This event will not only kick off the season of Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship, but will also confirm Misano as a must-see stop on the continental circuit. The competition promises to be thrilling, with the best truck drivers from all of Europe ready to compete on Romagnolo track.
In addition to the competition on the track, the event offers shows which capture the public's attention, such as the decorated truck rally, a true spectacle of creativity and ingenuity. Furthermore, the’retail area represents a meeting point between the community of the lorry drivers and the companies of the sector, offering the opportunity to discover the Latest news and the new ones models of the builders.
Appointment on the 23rd and 24th of May at the Santamonica Sports Centre
Misano is getting ready to host the Italian Master Athletics Championships on 23rd and 24th May at the Santamonica Sports Centre, one of the most highly anticipated national events. After last year's success, which saw around 3,000 participants including athletes, coaches, and companions, the event returns with a renewed and even more extensive format.
Among the main sporting innovations of the 2026 edition:
- Introduction of multiple events (women's heptathlon and men's decathlon)
- strengthening of relays, a central and spectacular element of the event
- debut of the 5 km road race, designed to broaden participation
The 5 km race will be one of the most distinctive: it will be run at night inside the Misano World Circuit, offering a unique and more engaging experience.
The organisation is entrusted to Atletica Santamonica Misano, with the support of local institutions and partners, including the Emilia-Romagna Region, the Municipality of Misano, Misano World Circuit and MOAB. The event is also sponsored by national and regional FIDAL, confirming its relevance in the Italian calendar.
Besides the sporting value, the event has a strong impact on the local area, contributing to tourism-related revenue and positioning Misano and the Riviera as benchmark destinations for sports tourism, also with a view to extending the season.
Great attention will also be paid to hospitality: in collaboration with Visit Misano, dedicated tourist packages will be offered for athletes and their companions, with the aim of transforming participation into a complete experience of sport, relaxation, and discovery of the local area.
