Inferno. At the centre of the earth
Onferno or Inferno? The abyss of wonders: secrets of rock and village.
In the past, in the heart of the mountains, beyond the reach of light, mystery, fears, and superstitions reigned. Today, curiosity, the thrill of exploration, and the wonder of what appears before our eyes are what drive us to discover the underground world: an extreme, timeless place that surprises us every time and makes us feel like children again.
The excursion leads to the discovery of Onferno and its suggestive caves, a UNESCO heritage site, through a guided tour of the karst complex, accompanied by experts who will recount the geological history and peculiarities of this unique place.
The experience continues at the Natural History Museum with an activity dedicated to bats, the protagonists of the cave ecosystem, designed to explore the characteristics of local fauna in an engaging way.
The evening concludes at the Multimedia Museum with an aperitif/buffet featuring local products and a screening of films dedicated to the Onferno nature area.
