COMIC BOOKS OF THE FUTURE It's a comic festival, in its second edition in 2025, which will be held in Misano Adriatico on March 15, 2025, from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
The festival aims to be an opportunity to talk to the public about future projects, recently published comics, and to show the public a “fresher” side of comic production.
The festival is organised by Niccolò Tonelli (Illustrator, comic artist and local event organiser) in collaboration with Off Hours Association, with the Sponsorship from the municipality of Misano Adriatico and the collaboration of Public Library in Misano Adriatico.
From this edition, Radio Sabbia and Associazione Brutta Scimmia join the organisation as media partners, while the Bauci Città bookshop returns with their bookshop. The Misano Adriatico Library will also host, starting from March 14th, the Show “Drawing History”, organised in collaboration with C.A.S.T. (Florence Convention of Archaeology, History and Tabletop Games). The exhibition hosts an interesting variety of works that disseminate history and archaeology through the language of comics and illustration.
In its second year, the festival presents itself in a smaller but dense version, on a single date full of appointments and activities on March 15th. An edition we have defined as the UNDERGROUND EDITION, underground, like a seed, ready to explode bigger and stronger in the coming years.
FUMETTI FUTURI (Future Comics) will be held at the Municipal Library of Misano Adriatico on March 15th from morning to afternoon and at the Independent Mexican Cultural Space in the evening. A bookshop managed by the Bauci Città bookshop of Modigliana will be present both in the afternoon and in the evening.
